Throwback#1: Choosing Choices

Assalamualaikum and greetings all precious readers..

Just sharing memory from the past year 2013..
Where choice was made, path was chosen..

This month, the 1st anniversary of me being a Master degree student and the 6th month of me being an employee in a company in Penang. The two path I have decided to take in 2013 which bring a lot of change.. :)

:: FLASHBACK start ::

January 5th, last year, I have decided to pursue my study in Master degree. I've took MBA in Engineering Management, which exactly differs from my bachelor degree, which is engineering.. Some questioned me, why took it? What's the plan of taking something that not related to the one I've took before? Just to gain more knowledge, that would be my answer.. The reason which some people may not accept, hehe.. :P

In 6 month time doing my Master, I gone through many things.. Many 1st timers, along with one of my former coursemate in Bachelor degree, we able to do things we thought we could not ever done it.. Exaggerating much rite? ^_^"

After 6 months, got job offer at Penang as Engineering Assistant.. After I already started my study, it's hard to choose between study and work.. Can't left what i already started but can't reject offer that may not come again.. After deep thought and opinion from others, I decided to take take risk of trying being both student and employee.. July 8th, I started my work as an engineering assistant in a company in Penang..

So, here I am now.. 6 month already, I have become both student and working.. Thanks to all who support and keep me surviving this.. (^__^)

Welcome 2014, 2013 in Memories

Assalamualaikum and greetings to all lovable readers...

Welcoming 2014 and wish for great memories this year,
And thanks for the bittersweet memories 2013 left us with..
Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for the longevity and able to go through another year..

BTW, record of 2013, this page only posted 5 entries in a year.. Sorry, the author was sooo irresponsible :P (Konon-konon hectic but truthfully not)

Now, let's review my journey throughout 2013...

Major events that mostly remembered in 2013 are:

• Being a Master Degree student in MBA (5th January)
• Started working as Engineering Assistant (8th July)

Never thought that I would be doing these two things in a year.. Never ever imagine that I have the courage to even try to do two things at one time..

Special thanks to those who have be there helping and supporting me to go through 2013..
Special thanks to Ma Abah and family for supporting mentally and financially..
Special thanks to the dearest for support, advices and forces to ensure I stick the path I have chose..
Special thanks to the only malay housemate, Sue for support and patience with me from the beginning we staying together..
Also thanks to all college staffs, lecturers, MBA coursemates, taxi drivers, friends and all..

Brief Update: 3 Months Story

BTW, mine are not that hectic but still I've got no idea to start typing.. Sometimes there are so many thing to tell but don't have time to write at that very moment, and after a while, it became old story.. No fun to talk about.. :( In the end, the blog only been updated once in 3 months.. How sad T_T

So, for brief update of the past 3 months, here are some pictures with brief story on what had happened..

Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia at Dewan 2020, Kangar.. Since that day (which I don't remenber the exact date) got nothing to do, my housemate and I go there to get free gift.. Haha :p

 

 

General election day, 5th of May.. I'm voting for the first time, hehe..

 

 

Sending another sister to further study in matriculation college.. Also in northern region of Malaysia, Kuala Nerang.. Best of luck there sis, do study hard and smart.. ^_^

 

 

Last but not least, the picture of "buah berangan" and "buah keranji".. Haha..

 

Not so much story since it is just old stories, just brief update..

Don't know when to update again, either soon or another 3 months later..

It's been quite a while I've didn't updating anything here.. Ohh, not a while but more than a month.. Sorry for not posting, if anyone do read this (--.)"

BTW, it has been two month since I've start continuing my study, as an MBA student.. Thehehe :)
Still, I'm struggling coping with major changes happen in my life.. Some may think what I've been through is something easy since they can do it.. Tell you what, none of you ever been in my shoe, in my place.. So, don't ever judge what I do, cause you know nothing about me.. Or need anyone to judge you too for what you fear? For what you don't like? For what you've been so fussy about?

Ok, now I babbling.. Haha, so not me before..

Ok, that is a change.. Me, from being an engineering student to management student.. Still coping since i have zero knowledge on management.. Wondering? Why did this girl take that if she know nothing?? Actually it's for knowledge, my main reason is to level up my confidence.. To those who know me, I am such a timid, quiet person..

And now, I'm driving on my own.. Weeee, not so amazing, right? After 3 years having car license, at last this girl is driving own her own.. What a shame, booo... Hey, at least I drive now.. And at least, I can drive to and from classes.. That is what more important, and I can get out to find foods.. Hehe, laugh at me..

Hmm, what a change in this year.. Wonder what will coming up later? What other changes will I get through? Scary yet exciting as well.. Weee.. Wish me luck in this year..

 

 



Wish could write more, story some more but guess I'll be keeping the story for later update.. Thanks to those who still reading this abandoned blog.. Really2 hoping I've could much more story in this..

Apa-apa pun, 1 tahun dah berlalu dengan macam-macam pelajaran dan pengajaran.. Harapnya tahun 2013 ni akan ada perkara atau events yang lagi menarik dan pengalaman-pengalaman baru.. Juga berharap resolutions tahun-tahun sebelum dan tahun 2013 dapat dicapai dengan jayanya.. Weeee, overexcited lak..

20122012: Another Year End

It's 20-12-2012 already, tahun 2012 hampir sampai ke penghujung.. Cepatnya masa berjalan, banyaknya benda tertangguh..  Resolution of the year? Not all are accomplished, but still too much lessons learned through out the year...

2012 dah hampir tamat, macam-macam benda dah jadi.. 2 bulan terakhir ni paling kelam kabut, bulan-bulan penentu apa bakal jadi tahun seterusnya... What will I be? Seorang student MBA kah? Seorang junior engineer kah? Atau meneruskan kerjaya sebagai domestic engineer secara professional?

New start will begin soon.. 2013, what will I be? Oh next year, harapnya semua lebih baik dari tahun ni...

Okay, those are some tongue twisters yang agak membelitkan lidah.. Actually, ada je tongue twister yang pendek-pendek tapi yang nampak agak menarik untuk dibaca.. Sambil-sambil hilang bosan, hilang stress, gelak-gelak bila dengar sebutan sendiri (Statement ni direfer kepada diri sendiri, ok!)..

A Domestic Engineer, Sort of...

A big smile to greet readers who willing to read in this quite abandoned blog..

It's in the middle of Syawal already, Happy Raya to the muslims.. I guess raya mood is over as all people back to works and schools... Me? Still staying at home, currently holding the title as mention above... An amateur domestic engineer... Seems like a professional career right? Ehehe.. :P

Let's learn a few meaning of this Domestic Engineer... (Source)

1. A fictional occupation where a person has no job other than housework but still want to appear useful. So they called themselves a domestic engineer.
2. A housewife or stay at home mom.

Well, I prefer the first meaning as I not a mom yet and not ever be a wife also.. Wohoo..

It's soooo true that I still have no job and I really wish to be useful.. As I am graduated to be an engineer and still jobless, so it is not wrong to call myself a domestic engineer...

Domestic Engineer: I'm a domestic engineer, and I have an associate's degree in liberal arts.
Actual Engineer: So you're unemployed and you're not an engineer.
Domestic Engineer: uhmmm...

 

Ohohoho, I am unemployed (yet!) but I am an engineer-to-be (I hope..).. Now, let see what does domestic engineer suppose to do based on this source..

1. Cleaning which include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, washing, polishing and more. It also include cleaning rooms, kitchen and halls in a house
2. Laundry that include washing, drying, folding,ironing and put it away.
3. Cooking where one should plan weekly menus, buy the groceries and cook.
4. Child Care including the duty of play games, change diapers, clean up toys and make snacks for the kids.

Actually, I just knew domestic engineer have this scope of work.. Before, I thought it was just a term.. Based on the job scope, I only do 1, 2 and 4 only... Not include the cooking part, sorry... My cooking still need an adult supervision, which is the Master Chef MaMa... Thehe :P

 

Well, that is a brief explaination of my career for now... Hopefully I got luck in real job hunting..

Bulan puasa tahun ni, officially menyambut Ramadhan sebagai seorang penganggur dan bukan lagi sebagai seorang student.. Untuk coursemates yang dah dapat kerja, tahniah dan selamat bekerja... Dapat la beraya dengan gaji pertama... :)

Saya? Hehe, I think I'm not ready yet for working environment.. Ada sesuatu perlu diubah dan perlu belajar sebelum hidup berkerjaya... Hoho :\

Positip, positip.. Dia nak suruh puasa dan raya puas-puas dulu kat rumah rasanya, habiskan masa-masa berkualiti dengan family sebelum sibuk dengan kerja nanti... ** Positip, positip **

Last May, I've been given the opportunity to travel outside Malaysia.. Thanks to my special friend coz do invite me to join the educational visit to Cambodia.. Never imagine I could step my own feet outside my own country..

I also could see one of the Seven Wonders here, the Angkor Wat.. How exciting...!!

Genocide Museum and The Killing Field

The Killing Field is the place where the huge amount of people are killed and buried alive.. There are many mass grave at the field, and the tourist guide told that the was a tree where babies are holded to their feet and smashed to a tree until dead.. Scary and soooo mean :'(

There are also a tower full of skulls of the dead where they are collected from numbers of mass grave aroung the place.. In the Genocide Museum, all the history were shown and a video is played to show the actual occurance at that time..

The Embassy of Malaysia, Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia.. A short visit to meet the Malaysia representitive and to know more about the Kingdom of Cambodia.. A brief review was presented on the story of the diplomatic relation between Malaysia-Cambodia and the overview of the country..

One of the university situated in Pnom Penh, Cambodia.. A huge university with a classroom-like lecture hall and all the students wear a blue uniform in this university..

The Angkor Wat

Here we are, one of the Seven Wonders, The Angkor Wat.. Very2 huge place to walk around with 3 temple lies inside the Angkor Wat Complex..

The reflection of the temple in the water.. According to the tourist guide, the view is more attractive during the raining season where the lake is full of water.. During this trip, it is in the hot and dry season..

Extremely exhausted but the excitement is still rising.. The temples are magnificent, no wonder it is listed as one of the Seven Wonders..

Boat ride along Mekong river and visit the Floating Market at the middle of Tonle Sap lake.. Have you ever visit a market in the middle of a lake? It is exciting...

The most exciting part is they do a birthday prank to the participant which born in May, including me.. They really got me there, thanks a lot for the birthday song on 4 languages: Malay, Chinese, Tamil and Korea... Thanks a lot..
