A Domestic Engineer, Sort of...

A big smile to greet readers who willing to read in this quite abandoned blog..

It's in the middle of Syawal already, Happy Raya to the muslims.. I guess raya mood is over as all people back to works and schools... Me? Still staying at home, currently holding the title as mention above... An amateur domestic engineer... Seems like a professional career right? Ehehe.. :P

Let's learn a few meaning of this Domestic Engineer... (Source)

1. A fictional occupation where a person has no job other than housework but still want to appear useful. So they called themselves a domestic engineer.
2. A housewife or stay at home mom.

Well, I prefer the first meaning as I not a mom yet and not ever be a wife also.. Wohoo..

It's soooo true that I still have no job and I really wish to be useful.. As I am graduated to be an engineer and still jobless, so it is not wrong to call myself a domestic engineer...

 

 Actual Engineer: What is your occupation? Do you have a degree?
Domestic Engineer: I'm a domestic engineer, and I have an associate's degree in liberal arts.
Actual Engineer: So you're unemployed and you're not an engineer.
Domestic Engineer: uhmmm...

 

Ohohoho, I am unemployed (yet!) but I am an engineer-to-be (I hope..).. Now, let see what does domestic engineer suppose to do based on this source..

1. Cleaning which include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, washing, polishing and more. It also include cleaning rooms, kitchen and halls in a house
2. Laundry that include washing, drying, folding,ironing and put it away.
3. Cooking where one should plan weekly menus, buy the groceries and cook.
4. Child Care including the duty of play games, change diapers, clean up toys and make snacks for the kids.

Actually, I just knew domestic engineer have this scope of work.. Before, I thought it was just a term.. Based on the job scope, I only do 1, 2 and 4 only... Not include the cooking part, sorry... My cooking still need an adult supervision, which is the Master Chef MaMa... Thehe :P

 

Well, that is a brief explaination of my career for now... Hopefully I got luck in real job hunting..

Since my laptop is having her rough time, I took her to spa to refresh herself... And now, she's back.. Seminggu lebih juga la tak di"on" sebab tak sihat.. Poor her..

Back to Ramadhan story...

Bulan puasa tahun ni, officially menyambut Ramadhan sebagai seorang penganggur dan bukan lagi sebagai seorang student.. Untuk coursemates yang dah dapat kerja, tahniah dan selamat bekerja... Dapat la beraya dengan gaji pertama... :)

Saya? Hehe, I think I'm not ready yet for working environment.. Ada sesuatu perlu diubah dan perlu belajar sebelum hidup berkerjaya... Hoho :\

Positip, positip.. Dia nak suruh puasa dan raya puas-puas dulu kat rumah rasanya, habiskan masa-masa berkualiti dengan family sebelum sibuk dengan kerja nanti... ** Positip, positip **

The Reflection

Last May, I've been given the opportunity to travel outside Malaysia.. Thanks to my special friend coz do invite me to join the educational visit to Cambodia.. Never imagine I could step my own feet outside my own country..

I also could see one of the Seven Wonders here, the Angkor Wat.. How exciting...!!

Genocide Museum and The Killing Field

The Killing Field is the place where the huge amount of people are killed and buried alive.. There are many mass grave at the field, and the tourist guide told that the was a tree where babies are holded to their feet and smashed to a tree until dead.. Scary and soooo mean :'(

There are also a tower full of skulls of the dead where they are collected from numbers of mass grave aroung the place.. In the Genocide Museum, all the history were shown and a video is played to show the actual occurance at that time..

The Angkor Wat

Here we are, one of the Seven Wonders, The Angkor Wat.. Very2 huge place to walk around with 3 temple lies inside the Angkor Wat Complex..

The reflection of the temple in the water.. According to the tourist guide, the view is more attractive during the raining season where the lake is full of water.. During this trip, it is in the hot and dry season..

Extremely exhausted but the excitement is still rising.. The temples are magnificent, no wonder it is listed as one of the Seven Wonders..

Boat ride along Mekong river and visit the Floating Market at the middle of Tonle Sap lake.. Have you ever visit a market in the middle of a lake? It is exciting...

The most exciting part is they do a birthday prank to the participant which born in May, including me.. They really got me there, thanks a lot for the birthday song on 4 languages: Malay, Chinese, Tamil and Korea... Thanks a lot..

Still smiling and alive, alhamdulillah...

Alhamdulillah, dah abis belajar seminggu yang lepas dan sekarang memegang title sebagai penanam anggur terhormat.. Tahniah kepada saya ye, tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian...

Kerja? Still tak dapat lagi, dapat interview je 1 hari tu.. Tu pun separuh jalan, hmm... Sedikit kecewa mugkin, tapi belum rezeki lagi... Positip, positip... (^_^)

Seminggu jadi housekeeper sambil-sambil pikir-pikir wat to do tomorrow and tomorow and the day after tomorrow morrow... Masa belajar dolu-dolu, sibuk nak abis cepat-cepat.. Dah abis belajar ni, bosan lak.. Hmm, tak tau nak buat apa pun ni..

To-Do List?? Hmm, banyak dah dalam list tu.. Pelaksanaan je ntah bila nak buat, hehe.. Bosan tapi sikit-sikit ada jugak rasa malas.. Adoi, adoi, apa nak jadi la...

Ok, cukup setakat sekarang.. Saja cari ilham, mungkin nak mula menaip balik or start a new blog, maybe..

The MeGA 2010/2011

Microelectronic Gala Awards, majlis yang diadakan tiap-tiap semester untuk bagi award kat student-student yang dapat 3.15 ke atas dan student-student aktif yang lain. Ni 2 semester lepas, sem lepas pointer turun. so xde la award untuk saya (--.)"

Masa ni 3rd year lagi.. Hampir 1 umah dapt anugerah Dekan dan Bestari.. Harap korang-korang berjaya lagi... Saya? I'll be on my way there.... slowly.... :)

Masquerade Dinner 2011

Event Majlis Perwakilan Kolej Kediaman (MPKK) yand saya terlibat secara x langsung, haha.. Tolong tepek-tepek poster bagai, bagi-bagi tiket, macam-macam la...

Ber"mask-mask" bagai untuk event ni.. Baju pun beli khas untuk event ni, pastu dah x pakai, sebab not really my style.. lain kali kot pakai lagi, tapi x tau la bila..

Ajak 1 umah gi Masquerade ni, sangat best... weee :D

Praktikal 3 Bulan di USM

Abis semester 6 kena masuk praktikal 3 bulan... Dapat praktikal kat Jabatn Pembanguna USM Kampus Kesihatan.. Walaupun x banyak kaitan dengan fotonik, tapi kurang-kurang dapt jugak pengalaman duk kat tempat kerja...

Kena kerja macam-macam... Mula-mula belajar sistem, pastu maintenance, calibration dan project management... Siap ikut gi kursus lagi.. Hoho :)

Semester 7 di UniMAP

Tahun terakhir di UniMAP, kejap je... Masuk rumah baru dengan housemate-housemate baru... New family..

7 orang, sama-sama fotonik... Siap ada family potrait lagi, ahaha... Tapi dekat-dekat nak abis ni, salah sorang dari kitorang terpaksa berhenti bersama kitorang atas sebab-sebab yang x dapat dielakkan.. Wish you best of luck in whatever you do dear... :(

Langkawi Sudden Trip

Memang trip mengejut.. Tengah malam plan, pagi esoknya terus naik feri gi Langkawi... Duk kat Green Hill Motel, trip selama 2 hari 1 malam dengan ahli rombongan seramai 4 orang... thehe -.-"

Sudden trip yang agak kejap.. Sempat gi kat kereta kabel je, tu pun x naik sebab orang sangat-sangat ramai...

Okay dearie, rasanye tu je yang ingat...
Short-term memory pulak..hehe...

Abis sudah part review 2011... Sekarang untuk tahun baru 2012, disambut dengan study semahu-mahunya untuk 1st paper, Computer Architecture... Killer paper for the semester T_T
